All our pilots are extensively trained and have flown all over the world and in all weather conditions. A Sustainable Adventure
We care about the environment and making a difference
Even though hot air ballooning produces carbon emissions, we take several measures to minimize our impact on the environment. By using propane as fuel, we can keep flights as clean and efficient as possible. When planning flights, our world-experienced pilots consider the weather conditions to determine where the balloons will take off, essentially determining where the balloons will land. This strategy has ensured that an average of only 4% of our flights landed in protected areas.
Sustainability is one of our core pillars and therefore, we are closely partnered with Dubai's only eco-luxury desert safari company, Platinum Heritage. After each flight, guests get transported to their breakfast camp in restored vintage Land Rovers. Platinum Heritage also gives a donation to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve for every guest they welcome in their camps. And by using restored vehicles, fewer carbon emissions are being expelled since they don't buy new vehicles as regularly.
